The Art of Discipline

The whole thing behind my drive to lose this weight is really a concerted effort to work on my discipline. If I focus on discipline, a lot of areas of my life will also improve, such as finances, eating, working, keeping the house clean, etc. It's an interesting idea to think of how to improve one's discipline. My first started step was to create this blog. Though anonymous, putting my vulnerability out there and staying on top of blogging will help me be more accountable to myself.

In order to help my discipline, I signed up for a 5K in March. I have never run a 5K. Sure I used to run a lot, but never in a race/group setting. So this will be a good start for me - something to look forward to.

December 29 is when I start training and being better. Here's the gameplan:

Once a week, I'll weigh myself and do full-body measurements. They will be posted on here. I'll also talk about my workouts, eating, and my thoughts on the week.
